Opportunity Status Change Date

Dear All,

We have a requirement to run report based on Opportunity Status Change date. Standard changed on will update based on any change in the opportunity. But in our case we need to capture the date whenever status changed.

Thinking of adding an extension field to capture status change date. But how do we know when exactly status changes (which event in PDI). I mean which event get triggers during the status change.

In the PDI ( Event : AfterModify), is it possible to know which field (attribute) changed ?
