I have crated a custom BO and created WOC and WOC VIew,

Assigned the WOC View to the WOC

If am doing direct Preview then am able to see.

Then I have created one Business role and assigned the WOC and View to the role

and assigned this new role to my user id .

Still not able to see the view in the TAB .

From SDK if am opening the view in preview mode its displaying one message implementation project not yet live

Any other settings or process am missing ?

is there a way how to display html mashups directly in iPad application?

My mashup is designed to calculate current GPS location and store it in custom fields. It works fine on desktop, it works fine in Ipad Safari browser, but it doesnt work in iPad application (in the standard nor in the extended app version). In the extended app it says "Loading.." but it never loads.

I think it may be caused by the script in the html, the script is valid, but maybe it is blocked due to security reasons...hard to say.

Any ideas how to make it work? Please see screens below.

Hi all,

I need to create a tooltip for an icon dynamically.

The tooltip has to display a date and a quantity.

Both values are set correctly, I have checked both.

But when I pass the date to the tooltip in the front end script, the date is displayed as "01/01/0001".

I have no idea which mistake I have made.

The script is the following:

     date = $currentrow.firstDeliveryDate;

     quantity = $currentrow.firstDeliveryQuantity;

     result = "Late Delivery; Earliest Delivery: "+date+ " / " + quantity;

Hi everyone,

I have a custom BO, called TimeSheet that holds an EmployeeID and a MonthYear date.

In the UI, I have a "PreviousMonth" button and a "PreviousMonth" BO Action where I create a new instance of the BO with another date. Up until recently, just after the PreviousMonth button was clicked I just saved and closed the window and both instances were in the list when I was back in the OWL. But now, there are cases when I don't want to save the first instance because it is already in the database, but I always want to save the previousMonth instance. If I save and close, it creates a duplicated timesheet and a new one for the previous month. If I just close without saving, the previoiusmonth instance is not created.

I am missing a Save method to force save the previousmonth instance and then close without saving.

How can I do to solve this ?

I logged into their tenant in Cloud Applications Studio and deleted the solution which seemed to succeed but the errors are still there.

The standars screen has "descriptiononly" as presentation mode. Is it possible to change the presentation mode through extensiblity explorer to "IDandDescription" . Or any other ways to do so?

Hello everyone,

I've added minor enhancements to two OWLs --- the Accounts screen and the Contacts screen --- which aren't quite behaving as expected. These two fields show the name of the person listed as 'Employee Responsible --- Sales' in the account, so that both on the account and any contacts listed for that account the name of the employee responsible for that account is shown in that particular row.

However, there's a slight issue. When I go into the account screen, go to Contacts > Responsibilities and just CHANGE the employee listed in the 'Employee Responsible --- Sales' row then save and close, the extension field on the OWL doesn't update on the Accounts screen...but it does on the Contacts OWL. However, if I go into the account, DELETE the employee responsible entry, save and close, then go back in and re-add the row with the desired new name, the Accounts screen updates just fine.

I'm not sure why this is as the two extension fields are written to using the same data in the same manner. I'll include screenshots below; as always, any help would be appreciated.

We have created a extension BO and its own new Quick create. But the issue is when ever we save the data , we need an pop up like standard "Item Created.Open Item" like in standard.

Can any one please guid me how do i achieve that?

I currently struggle with enabling extension field in Cloud Studio to offline. (C4C)

So my Scenario:

I want to have an extension field in Account TI Screen.

This extension field needs to be offline available on iPad App.

With KUT this is perfectly working (Adapt Screen -> Further Usage -> Service Tab -> Selecting correct Field Available check box).

In Cloud Studio I do not find the setting to do that.

I am so far that I have an xbo with an element  which is added as an extension field in UI Designer.

So in online mode I'm seeing this field. In offline not.

May somebody explain me, how to do that?

As per our requirement we have added few extension fields on the Account tab.

Now we need these same Extension fields to be added in the WOC View "Target Groups" under "Marketing" WOC.

While am trying to add am not able to get the Extension field which I created for the Account screen.

Is it possible to do ?

We have the requirements to add an URL mashup to the C4C opportunity screen to launch an URL in a separate window and pass opportunity ID to it. We created a URL mashup with port binding to Opportunity Info and mapped the URL parameter to the opportunity ID. However, when we want to add this to the opportunity floor plan, this mash up doesn't show up.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is it possible to implement Auto-refresh list option using outport of create and inport of Embedded component ?

I have followed below steps:

Created Outport on Quick create screen assigned local event name and broadcast = True.Fired this outport in save event handler after operation Window->save.

Created inport in embedded component, assigned same local event name in the navigation info, assigned event handler which will execute the query and also refreshes the list after query execution. But the screen refresh is not happening automatically when I create new entry. When I check iin standard Account->Sales Data, the process seems to be same. Can you please suggest what is missing?

I'm fairly new to the SAP environment and I'm using the C4C product.  We have version 1505 installed and I'm using the same version of the SAP Cloud Application Studio.  There is an external webservice that I would like to integrate with that provides a validation service. The WSDL can be found here: http://demo1.intechiq.com/IQOffice2.wsdl

I've used XMLSpy to check the schema and I've used SOAPUI to consume the service.  I've also been able to generate the necessary stubs using Java.  I am however unable to use the SAP Application Studio.  I've created a service integration (external web service integration) item in my solution explorer, but as soon as I try to activate (right-click on the .wsid file) the system comes back with an error about non-unique entries. If every other system is working fine with the WSDL, is there something that the SAP Application Studio requires differently?

I'm really hoping it's only a beginners problem.
